On the bright side, you can use it to your advantage as like tax write offs. One year I sold quite a bit and I just wrote off supplies and randomly guessed how much gas I used when going to the post office lol
I member my dad bought a new printer completely unrelated and I wrote that s*** off
If it’s video games he bought at full price and sold for less he can write it off as $0 cause the cost base would be more than he sold it for so $0 taxes (besides increase to income)
