lol this isn't it at all, Ariana never had super strong pure sales, I actually don't think her numbers have fallen much in that regard (though they def have to an extent).

it mostly comes down to the fact that her streaming #'s fell this time massively as I'd assume partially were a result of an awful rollout and timing of release. Which is strange considering she's one of the few current pop-stars that used to actually put up extremely high streaming numbers comparatively to others (just last year with thank u next being still the highest streaming debut for a female artist), might also be a result of somewhat over-saturation as of late.

I think her team will try to bounce back with a strong follow up project to make up for the weak numbers

oh yeah this is def a flop, don't get me wrong, one of the biggest flops of the year from a big artist

but it's more so a flop because of how badly she did in streaming compared to her previous album more so than it is because of a fall in pure sales from the bundle rules
