There's been a huge decline in smoking here in Australia but its more down to the health risks, the ads and packaging of cigarettes here is very confronting and I wouldn't recommend googling it

Cigs aren't demonized for our gen just because of health reasons, cause if that was the case they wouldve been just as demonized by previous gens...and we know they werent as much

It's because we were the first gen who grew up seeing that blackness was cool for everyone (on a surface level ofc) and smoking cigs is the opposite of that
