That’s what he said during his AMA

Doesn’t he just mean an alc version of the vinyl? He does that a lot. I highly doubt it’s a remix album, just an alternate cover and maybe a bonus track

I don’t know how that’s going to look honestly because Infinite is not an Alchemist project. And in the past he’s done ALC versions of projects he’s led so we’ll have to see. Either way, P and Havoc getting paid twice so it’s not a bad idea

Yeah I just think it’ll be an exclusive vinyl to his website tbh. Excited for a new cover though. OG cover is pretty bad
havoc’s producer chops can’t be understated on this
he was able to build so much around these unreleased vocals so well that he might have f***ed around and made one of the most natural sounding posthumous releases i’ve ever heard
if you knew nothing about mobb deep and heard this you would assume they created this together in real time
This def an Alchemist beat
Album was dope
also hearing clipse & mobb deep on a record together rapping their asses off sounding energized and inspired is a beautiful thing
a lot of OG’s have dropped quality music this year but they really on another level
like their albums ain’t just “good for a comeback album”, they’re legit dropping some of the best music this year
Album was dope

Clipse still got it for me off the strength of the rapping + production. The beats on this one are great but there's not really anything on this blowing me away the same way that So Be It or FICO did. But ultimately, there's 2 different goals in mind. One album is a revival of a group and bringing them up to speed in the current space and the other is a swan song allowing Mobb Deep to go out on their terms as a group.
This one is very good, but it doesn't touch the highs of the Clipse album, even if that one has lower lows with P.

I'll tell you what though
The Mobb Deep album blowing every other Mass Appeal release out of the water this year.

This is truth.

I mean it's just an argument over peaks or consistency
like I agree with everything u say
but man P ruined some tracks
I love the tyler track tho

Yeah ghostfaces beats on some songs were questionable to me. I definitely like Raekwons as second best.

They both rapped to their styles of beasts so its hard to say to me tbh. I think my hype levels wanted the clipse project so fkn bad, vs this one i didnt even expect mass appeal to deliver on all their promises. S*** like so be it and FICO/ title track types do it for me tho.

I got used to most of the P hooks at this point
this album is still like a 9 for me tho. no skips here but some of these joints are just

You signed up for a Clipse album and weren’t ready for P?
Look at Me has me in such a trip. They all flowed so good and its mastered so well, I deadass thought it was just 1 Person rapping that whole joint
these 4 would have been so nasty on songs together.
Clipse fits so f***ing well on these 90s dark beats. I can tell how much Mobb influenced them as MCs so it truly feels like a dream come true for them to even appear next to the Duo on a joint

I would rank it
Mobb Deep
Slick Rick
Raekwon
Ghostface
