At this point I just hope this doesn’t cause Ye’s to have a anxiety/manic attack and hurt his mental health.
Hope he’s staying calm thru all this but someone has got to sit down with him or something and just get a concrete goal down man
He needs a concrete team of producers that are going to take no nonsense from him, while still allowing him to be the great artist he is.
A team like Mike Dean, No I.D, Jeff Bhasker, Plain Pat, Rick Rubin, S1 & 88-Keys. Those guys didn’t let him bullshit but also didn’t stop him from being Ye. That’s how he was able to make a whole ass album like 808s in 3 weeks.

it's just throughout the second livestream at random times kanye was on his phone yelling at who we would later find out was mike dean about mixing issues
ngl my takes on fire tn imma make a thread talking about pinkpantheress or sum bc ive been meaning to do that
how u feel about her I think she's excellent based off of the little we've heard but I fear her trajectory will be detrimentally one dimensional
like for someone whose as good of a songwriter and aesthetician as she is I really hope she's able to find diversity within the y2k aesthetic. be a more evolved version of that 2015 goldlink/masego sound essentially

optimistic take
why did uzi even care that much about tyler's opinion lmao. out of everyone he could have listened to he picked the guy who's never produced a hit record or album for another artist. tyler's taste in music is dusty as f*** too for the most part so what the f*** does he know about uzi's type of music lmao.
I feel like this might be misinformation. All I remember is Tyler saying Uzi had weak/trash beats. It's not like he EP'd his album
mike dean is f***ing 56 years old pulling all nighters and sleeping in a stadium locker room on the floor. He probably stepped back looked at Kanye wipe the whiteboard clean this morning, write a new song on the board called “Tornado” and had a panic attack.

this is kinda seeming to be more about the time conflict with Mike Deans show next weekend more than anything. Mike can't work on the album rn and has other albums to do and a string of shows he's been promoting for a while now
feel like 90% of the posts here are gonna turn out to be useless discussion and fan fiction

This is so true

Why should it be someone elses responsible to go babysit a grown ass man that doesn't want to be helped lol. at this point it's on kanye to realize he needs help and to reach out to people.
Ye good. Kanye did the dropout trilogy and Graduation without C***Dean, he’s got Cons still, Malik still writing for him, Donda still saved
This is a inaccurate and dumb post because Mike been with Ye since The College Dropout. Probably the only reason why he stuck with him all these years.

The artists he’s working with are artists stoked to be on a Kanye West record. He needs critical thinkers on his team.
Donda should have never been played for us.

Are the features actually good? And like contribute to the album
Or is Durk gonna talk about smokin opps and pourin 4s over a gospel trap beat

All those guys I named were probably stoked to be on a Ye album. But the difference is they knew how to Separate the art from the artist. Some of the guys he’s working with now would probably jump off the roof of the stadium for Ye if he asked them to.
