XANTAThis is what I'm wondering cus people are acting like he has to lift the world on one finger just to say "Sorry, my condition made me say those disgusting things I'm so sorry"
And I feel like a lot of people would easily accept his apology and hand-wave this s*** away
nows the perfect time for him to raise tourettes awareness too
don't think it's too late but he should definitely make a statement

vaylaIs it bad that I’m wondering to myself why he didn’t use other slurs, or shout them at non-Black people? Still learning about Tourettes but I asked Claude about this to get a bias-free answer:

Anyone else know a better response to it than this?
Because the N word is the most absurd slur word of them all. I can only assume he probably has said other nasty things towards other ethnic groups. He is a Scottish guy so I can see him using the P word as well towards Arabs and Indians.
I seen some with Tourette's who has made pedo comments around children. They just make the most hideous comment possible in the circumstances they are in. It's a very heartbreaking disability, which has leaded to many getting attacked or commit suicide.

In a way without risking it not really no @sab am I wrong ? People with this level black people with this level also say hard r to strangers which is still offensive or I’ve seen someone do the grim salute . The condition in public constantly risk offending others yes

Yeah it’s reported he shouted “fuck off”, “bullshit”, and “shut the f*** up” at Sara Nutt while she was presenting another award.
One of the Sinners producers, Hannah Beachler, said that he said the hard R three different times, including saying it to her face after the show (he left 25 minutes in).
That’s why I was curious about if he said other slurs or if he said it to non-Black attendees. I’m not sure how triggers work for coprolalia which is why I was trying to learn more about it.
