well i said in one of my post that he most likely has pure thought ocd which is tied to tourettes alot, and thought a racist thought which the tourettes caused him to blurt out. no excusing or giving a “reasoning” on why he is racist, he still thought the racist thought.

i know youre struggle man! ocd works different for everyone, pure ocd is hell. there are different themes of pure ocd people go through. just because you dont have one of the themes doesnt mean someone else doesnt struggle.

i'm confused what you mean here because intrusive thoughts are answered with compulsive guilt loops and anxiety, we get intrusive thoughts like everyone else, i don't understand how that's related to tourette's. we just obsess over ours and what they mean a thousand times more than a normal person who's like "wtf whyd i think that" and moves on. my intrusive thoughts are horrible but if we're talking pure o shouting something out loud is not part of the compulsive answering our brain does, and that would function entirely separate from tourettes. from what i understand tourettes and ocd are only tied because of the lack of control in thought process and can develop in tandem due to that

people with tourettes tend to devleop pure o or a similar anxiety disorder due to the stress of their disorder! alot of times they are fighting against what their brain is telling them because thats what pure OCD does, it contradicts who we are.
im not speaking for the man who yelled it. i was making a comment on the mixture of the two which is very prevalent in most tourette patients.
