Wtf
I knew something was very wrong with this but didn't wanna say it lol. Never heard a Cinemascore releasing on a Thursday before the actual release weekend
Slightly concerning the official page did this for a number of reasons. And it definitely wasn't a mistake
I am reading the wikipedia page for the Victory tour and wow the dad was like level 10 greedy. That stupid ass ticket lottery system is crazy work.
And they probably should have included the fact that him and his brothers had some tensions behind the scenes over the tour, the brothers feel so useless in the movie.
Thriller and Victory Tour being the focus of second half would have probably made it a sharper movie.
Wtf
swear I saw discussingfilm post this first before the official page
Jaafar did amazing. Probably the best portrayal we will ever have of Michael down to the voice, dance, and emotions. However, everything else was not very enjoyable. I REALLY wanted to love this but I walked out feeling underwhelmed sadly.

It really felt like an editting issue now that iv sat on it.
Wtf
The craziest part is that John Travolts Michael 1996 movie was critically panned by both critics and fans, how tf did it get an A-
Wtf
haha very weird but judging the RT audience score it'll either stay or go up to A

Editing and direction. Everyone else, especially The Jackson 5, felt flat to me. Too much music and less dialogue, which killed it for me early on. Then just skimming through eras in the beginning also got me tight too. There’s more but yeah lol.
This was electric man. Had a big smile while watching. As many said , the concert scenes were unreal. Hats off to Jafaar
Ol dude should’ve just played his pops, he too weird looking for the king of pop
Needed a fully CGI Michael tbh

Just animate the whole thing at that point would look way to jarring & uncanny imo

I think given what we know about Diana now too it's somewhat a miracle they managed to put something fairly cohesive together in such a short time. The entire story of the film has been canned twice and rebuilt in less than a year. I don't think the average movie goer would be aware of it.
I just wish they went into more detail.
they really found the perfect actor for this role
When the film was announced everyone kinda said you can't play MJ without it falling into the parody territory - I think there won't ever be a more accurate MJ portrayal.
And to think it's Jaafar's first acting role.. it's very impressive
also vin diesel was incredible as the security guard
Give vin a f***ing oscar immediately
Bravo mr diesel..... bravo
