bc art especially music is inherently subjective
You have nostalgia for subjectivity it isn’t real . I have studied brains and you for years
It’s not really shoehorning anything into the subjective. It’s just explaining why so many of us act the way we do
it is shoehorning things into the objective, because you’re attempting to explain off someone’s enjoyment of a project with bro-science to attempt to justify your preference for The Weeknd’s later projects
Niggas want to seem like the smartest in the room rather than just be human
No one’s trying to be the smartest anything, it’s a very simple explanation
You look hard enough you’ll find a scientific reason why you like Dawn FM. Put the graphs down
Is there someone else >>>

You sound pretentious as s*** in a metro booming dissing drake thread

But there are still scientific explanations for why our brains are wired the way they are.
Why is that insulting?
because art is an intuitional, subjective endeavor, versus a series of processes and mechanics in the brain that produces a certain effect
and it’s inextricably qualitative, to try to explain it off with “well your brain was still developing at X age, that’s why you like it so much” is just disgusting and materialistic

My entire point is that once people reach a certain age they stop judging music fairly without the bias of nostalgia involved. This doesn’t just apply to The Weeknd, this is the case for numerous artists

It’s not insulting to explain why something is the way it is though. They don’t exist separate of each other, they work hand in hand.

well then i guess you should ask 14-18 year olds about their takes on music and leave these apparently extremely biased adults to their own devices

Why do you think this site mainly discusses artists that were either coming up or were huge between 2011-2015?
It’s why I continue to say that KTT becomes more and more out of touch with every passing day
