Usually Drake’s hits are of a certain quality, that they’re so well crafted that the majority of listeners attach to them and then that song becomes one of the biggest of the album.
This is usually the case, not always, Scorpion for example. All the singles were great but the album overall wasn’t amazing.
My point is that if the best crafted hit that CLB had to offer is Knife Talk, that says something about the overall quality of the album, being that Drake has always been a very gifted hitmaker

Sounds like he ain't want him on anything to me. Fam was dropping hints that everything was completed, and he wasn't trying to add anything else, but Drake ain't take the hint.

He knows full well that any song with him on it, the attention from the masses with gravitate towards his verse. Now add someone else's song, they release the version without Drake as the official version, and Drake then leaks his version, what you think most people gonna start saying? With how hot Drake is right now, it don't matter if he farts on the record. It will draw attention away from the official release period. That was a malicious move on Drake's part.
