Dec 23, 2022There's no scientific way to predict how long a jury will deliberate, but the rule of thumb repeated by trial lawyers is one day of deliberations for every week of testimony. The longer a judge lets a trial drag on, the longer deliberations are likely to drag on.

Or is the evidence mainly that someone shot her and it was one of Kelsey or Tory, and theres no evidence it was Kelsey?

one eye witness, the most reliable witness (someone watching from their patio) in the case implied that meg and kelsey got into a fight outside of the vehicle, kelsey ran to grab a gun, fired the gun (unclear how many times), tory ran to her and at some point fired the gun (multiple times). at no point did the witness see the gun directly, only muzzle flashes near specific people
no specifics on where the gun was fired other than vague descriptions like:
tory: in the air/ everywhere
