In the grand scheme of things the s*** shaming IS bad, and it's f***ed up, but she 'may' have actually lied about a lot more serious stuff pertaining to this case. The only thing that's relevant there IMO is her lying about the extent of her relationship with Tory. That directly impacts the events of that night.
Focusing on her being s*** shamed IMO is an easy way to gain social media sympathy and takes attention away from how bizarre her recounting of the night may have been.
