My Daily Routine:
Morning:
Write three pages (the artists way)
Meditate
Listen to 20 minutes of Power of Now
Workout (cardio)
Cold shower
Head out to write (I’m an aspiring filmmaker)
Evening/Night:
Read
Workout (weights)
Study film(s)
Meditate again if I feel up to it
And then I like to listen to affirmations while sleeping to get the extra subconscious boost
And then lifestyle choices are:
Vegan diet (not strict, some days I slip)
Try and drink a gallon water a day
No Fap
Try and limit social media/KTT

S*** like Wolf of Wall Street, Sorry to bother you, Uncut gems. Those mixture of films.
I’m an aspiring film maker. So I head out to my local library or a coffee shop to go write for a few hours. Im still furloughed from my job so I make an effort to leave my house to go write so I can get out the crib for like 5-6 hours.
5-6 hours?
I'm also interested in filmmaking (writing and directing my own movies). Complete novice right now and I've been trying to write a short film. I've spent over a month trying to think of a story that I still haven't finished and when I sit to do this everyday it takes me like 1h 15mins before my brain taps out
. Though Im quite inconsistent doing it everyday but it's taking me what I think is too long to come up with the finished story and s*** is frustrating me. Right now I'm thinking either i try a new writing technique or maybe I'm just not made for this lol
Used to be an avid meditator and still carry the principles with me in my everyday conceptual framework. I’m going to get a streak going again if I can. I’m pretty much working and studying 24/7 and have used this as a “I don’t have time” excuse. Trapped in a poison mindset atm.
Stress caused me to develop some nasty health issues these past 5 years - IBS, heart palps, migraines, random aches and pains (especially jaw and neck - it hurts when I sneeze or bop my head to music now), weight gain.
Here’s to a light at the end of the tunnel, without expecting too much and seeing meditation as a panacea (this is where a lot of people f*** up).
Any and everything on Criterion Channel. Usually what I’ll do is go to the “leaving this month section” and try and catch as much as possible before they leave.
Recently I watched “He who gets slapped” a silent film from the 1920s
I have films I watch to study and films I watch for pleasure. So currently I’m tryna study more older and art house type films
How do u feel about bergman

Thoughts on guided meditation videos?
Never done any except maybe an Alan watts one but I feel like depending on the source it can be really helpful
If you find a good one lmk
I feel more present. I got pretty uncomfortable sitting after like 5 minutes, is there a "right" way to sit? All in all tho, that was a great experience. Idk how else to explain it but i really feel in the moment, went for a little walk afterwards.
