Honestly my meditation sessions haven’t been truly great since the first year I started. It still makes me feel better throughout the day than I would without but I still don’t feel particularly motivated to do anything and the meditation itself doesn’t feel the same.
I’m talking about transcendental meditation btw
I also get that you’re not supposed to be searching for the same experiences but all of my meditation experience for the past couple years now have been the same.
I don’t even feel as relaxed and haven’t experienced transcendence since that first year.
When I first started it was easy and my meditation sessions felt like some of my experiences on psychedelics. Now it’s just whatever, it allows me to manage my anxiety but I don’t feel inspired by it.
