i liked mia goth and mosey sumneys scenes together in this but that’s a small part of the film

otherwise it’s sort of a nothingburger

I rolled my eyes so hard when I saw a tweet that said the third act of MaXXXine was bad on purpose in true giallo homage.

Ti West is no different than Ryan Murphy, who just waste 90% screen time doing almost nothing, only to realize that they need to wrap up the story and so they ramp it up, rushing to cram everything in those last 15 minutes.

A final act of a movie i think was super absurd and it ended up working to a degree imo was The Substance

I like seeing mia goth on screen and moses sumney they were doing a lot of heavy lifting by way of their screen presence alone.

As far as the first two movies I genuinely enjoyed them albeit the cucking s*** kinda wild to watch although its effective in pointing out the dudes hypocrisy a little bit

I enjoyed the camp of X

and think Pearl is dope.

A lot of it hinges on Mia Goths screen presence imo. I think if you don't buy her accent that might kill it for you
