My score has gone from a 7/10 to a 5/10 the more I think about it
I think the action left a impression on me but when I think about this movie is too inconsistent

This is a bad bad bad movie…

You cannot make a film which is 2 hours and 40 minutes long on characters which majority of the population haven’t heard of. There was no care in the audience I sat in because no one had a clue what implications they had.

Story is an absolute mess and the run time hurts it even more with the amount of holes you can poke into it.

Visuals were incredible but as a watch it was horrible.

Ain't even Chloe's fault like that. The Marvel formula keeps getting in the way, so the movie never explores its themes with as much depth as it can. Also, shoulda been a series

This was like being made to eat 10 full-course meals in 30 minutes

I think this is waaay better than Shang Chi, but they didn't have the balls to keep it serious and had to add the same dumb humour we have been getting in every Marvel/DCEU/Venom movie lately. It would have also been a bit shorter without all the dumb s***.

This movie was not it. Bloated af, the jokes did not land. The emotional moments were the best parts and story + pacing were the weakest. Def better than movies like Thor 2, Black Widow, Incredible Hulk as this one does have a character of it's own unlike those generic ass movies. It's probably like a 6/10 for me.

Please tell me if this movie is worth it can’t figure it out have watched all MCU movies in cinemas and was really hyped about this but I heard people don’t f*** with it

If you’ve seen the rest, you might as well keep up the trend. It’s not that bad, at least in my opinion, there’s far worse in the MCU

this should’ve been seriously fleshed out as a series. especially with it taking place in different time periods.

if it had enough care like mandalorian would’ve easily been a huge hit they dropped the ball hard

the context of the conclusion makes you take this movie less serious which is sadder than the emotional weight throughout the whole movie tbh

If the mandalorian was a film it would be so much better. Blockbuster level movie > turning it into show

Even though stuff like StageCraft is cool you can tell from a mile away how confined the set is, and for Eternals, that’s just not the way to do it, even if it mean sacrificing story (in some cases they bloat the s*** out of shows and add filler which people would end up complaining about as well)

They didn’t drop the ball. If all the mcu shows were standalone films, on par with the origin movies, they would have been better (with the exception of What If..)

To each their own though. Watched it again earlier and it was just as good

the rewatch got me thinking this the most beautiful marvel

This really reminded me of Human Instrumentality, from NGE.
