Am I the only one that thought it was annoying as hell that they switched back n forth so much between IMAX shots? I thought Marvel was all IMAX now. Or at least digital IMAX

Correct me if I'm wrong but i think I saw somewhere that this was the one marvel film where the director had complete creative freedom

possibly the most freedom so far but definitely not complete

they never let these indie director touch the fight scenes afaik. which makes sense usually.

also im pretty sure she took the already existing outline for what had to happen to the characters (more or less) to feige with her pitch on how to get them there.

Saw it today. Yeah I was fighting for consciousness up until the second half. The acting/directing/action didn’t seem to be the problem, it was a case of doing the best one could with a flawed script

There were glimmers of greatness in the film (mostly second half) but as a whole it was glorified mid

I could not stop thinking of Invincible while watching the final act

So the actress who plays Makkari, Lauren Riddloff, is actually non-verbal by choice. So the scene when she screamed toward the end when she thought Druig was dead packs more emotion in it now. Verbalizing in that situation would be pure emotion no matter what.
