fair. I think this movie had THE most impactful marvel scene that resonated with me on a personal level deeply. But most of the movie felt like i was detached emotionally.

What scene was that, if you don't mind me asking?

Ikaris taking a moment to sink in the fact that he failed his one purpose in life, the purpose he betrayed his loved ones for, realizing he has no purpose left, no loved ones really because of that broken trust… he has a tear drop down his cheek, he says sorry to the person he loved (even tho their chemistry was not there for me) and he just straight up flys into the sun killing himself

as someone who has had a rough year and made a attempt, this scene really resonates with me and i feel that pain

I also thought him flying into the sun was a little too on the nose.. he could've went and did some contemplating with white vision lol

Maybe Invincible ruined the "op guy with laser eyes goes apeshit on everyone" trope for me

Yeah that was the lamest part of the movie for me

There's usually a scene or two in most marvel movies that make me go , but this didn't have one, not that those other 2 did, but the other 2 weren't 2 hours and 47 minutes. But come to think of it, the dinner table scene in black widow made me feel more than anything in this did

    The celestials creating galaxies

It’s not horrible. Having the press see it early and s*** on it had a lot of people latch onto that opinion. It being gassed for an Oscar contender didn’t help either.

If you like Marvel/Chloé you’ll like it. It’s slower than the other films, and even though it’s got the standard MCU tropes, it’s the first film in 13 years that feels different

“There’s an agenda to portray Black men as feminine”

Is that why they made Captain America black?

And what about every character in Black Panther?

    Homophobes trying too hard smh

The issue is a lot of people, especially the black community, don’t like anything unironically gay
