I remember I played 60-80 hours of the first game and miles morales in 2 weeks and then I couldn’t even finish 3-4 hours of this game

asaboveI don’t understand why this game is so s*** on, I went back to the first Spider-Man and it’s f***ing boring compared to this AND Miles Morales. The story is incredible but the gameplay? That s*** doesn’t touch MM or this and I don’t understand how anyone can feel otherwise.
The side quests are better, the challenge missions are better, the world events are better (until you get to the end, idk what they were thinking with that s***), the combat is better, exploration and world building is better, customization is better. The only thing that is better in the first game is the story.
I think if people actually went back and played it after playing this instead of just talking out of their ass from what they think they remember, it would be majority agreed up that this is a better sequel in every way except the plot line (I also don’t have a problem with the story either but that’s whatever, people b**** about everything now).
pretty much agree with all ur points but to me the story is such a downgrade it spoils a lot of the rest of the game.

it was one of those things where when I beat 2 I thought was this series always mid writing wise? which made me replay 1 with tears in my eyes, beautifully written/acted ending

Yeah I will say, Insomniac really needs to work on the pacing of their games
