show sort of lost its grimy visual aesthetic which I didn't feel was THAT unique or visually interesting but definitely better than whatever they got going on visually in this one.
This just makes me wanna rewatch Netlfix Daredevil.
People were talking about how good the opening was and it really just made me feel like they reshot a 15 minute sequence to make you remember how good the og show was. Not a great sign. I've only watched ep 1 so far.

the cgi was so noticeably bad in that first fight scene

That procedural CBS aesthetic

yea I don't know being on the roof looked that weird but
never seen OG daredevil. can i still watch it on D+?
Yep! all 3 seasons are on D+.
The first season is a perfect season of TV and very self contained.
The trump parallel angle is so corny and overdone in media
Writers think they cook so hard when they do it even tho everyone does it and always go way too hamfisted with it

Yeah that whole scene was so weird
not bad first 2 eps tho
we all know it will go up a notch when Jon Bernthal makes an appearance
Why tf would they kill foggy like that? Disney showing again they dont understand storytelling anymore. When you kill a major character you have some build up. Not just randomly for shock value

I think they're going to bring him back. I think the story was written with them killed off screen prior to the show so when they creatively overhauled the show it was to potentially fix that and give it the weight it "needed". Does it work? I don't think so! But I could easily see them already planning on backtracking it and not being able to say anything about it right now.
I get that theyre doing a trump adjacent thing but people dont react like this to mayors do they lol
in new york they do lol
But adamantium didn't exist in the mcu until the new captain america movie?
Yeah in the comics it’s adamantium but in the show it was something else
So this sucks? Lmao
As a longterm fan, it's too early to tell. There was basically no reality where the bust out the first two episodes and it's 100% as good as the previous show. Things gotta marinate.
