Well yeah that's because of Strange's connection to the MCU. Strange is still not as popular of a character as Wolverine.

Do you really think they're only gonna do Spider-Man, X-Men, and Avengers films for the next 15 years? There will definitely be solo characters that get their own films and/or trilogies, and Wolverine is at the top of that list

I watched the full original series in preparation of it coming back with season one of 97. I’m not saying he was the main character but it felt like he got the most episodes dedicated to him and was included in team ups more often than others

If Rogue is part of the brotherhood of evil in this first movie, I could see a solo movie for her that gives us her origin through flashbacks as she becomes a good guy

They will get solo movies, I just don't see characters getting trilogies anymore. We're probably just gonna get more mini-event movies like Civil War with multiple characters.

If Wolverine gets a trilogy it's gonna be like spread over like 15 years at the rate they're going.
MCU Phase 1-3 had a group of core characters and certain restrictions which allowed them to have a lot of development and solo movies.
Like if Ant-Man was being made today, no shot he'd get a sequel.

Now with them having all the characters available I don't think most characters will get trilogies.

Like I could see a Jean Grey movie having Wolverine with a meaty role in it.

And I actually think Jean Grey movie is likely cause they said she was gonna be in Secret Wars so they have big plans for her and Sadie Sink is a star due to Stranger Things.

Theory/ Spoilers(?) for Doomsday and Secret Wars:

Doomsday ends with Doom making Battleworld with most heroes from Doomsday losing their memory.
Secret Wars will have Jean Grey as a part of the resistance crew who will help them remember.

i mean ion think holland should’ve gotten more than a trilogy either but the main difference is spiderman being largely a solo hero whereas wolverine was introduced to audiences via a team ensemble. comic fans know better about who leads the x men. theres other characters to explore atp who deserve the $ thatd go to a logan trilogy

Wolverine always had his own side adventures, I dont see the problem with him getting his own series of movies. Just dont treat him like top dawg in the xmen movie

I’d be in for a Jean solo movie I just think Disney might be too scared to do a female led solo again. Who knows tho of her popularity soars it could work

Man they have other characters they need to invest in give wolverines d*** some air

Other characters like who ? Wolverine one of the only xmen character that has a dedicated history of solo adventures

A blade solo . Even just one movie so much to ask but we can get Wolverine up to his 10th movie

But the problem is those other characters are a bigger financial risk to devote time and resources to for solo movies. I would love a Cyclops film and an Iceman film and a Storm film and all of the other characters as well, but they're not as sure of a bet as a Wolverine film is.

Plus, out of all of the X-Men, Wolverine is the who functions the best as a solo character.

I think post Secret Wars the MCU popularity will rise again and people will start watching any random thing they make again. Specially with the TV shows going away.

I would love a Cyclops/Jean Grey solo Elseworlds film, but MCU hasn't shown any intentions of doing anything that's not a main universe entry at this point

6 movies in 24 years, meanwhile Spider-Man has been in 12 movies in the same amount of time and nobody is complaining

Jean is in ONE movie and y’all already had enough and not interested in a solo
