I was thinking about what this could be today and if they do go forward with Knull, they could do some real cool s*** connecting him with the MCU. I would first probably establish that Knull exists somewhere outside the multiverse and the Hivemind allows him to travel it. That way we avoid making him directly from the Sonyverse even though he’s being introduced in a SSU movie.

Knull's comic origin involves him existing before the creation of the Marvel universe by the Celestials. He is brought in by them during the creation of the Marvel universe and is offered the position of “King in Black.” He was to look after the Celestials creation. He is subsequently awakened by the Light of Creation, goes crazy, creates All-Black the Necrosword (Gorr’s weapon in Thor: Love and Thunder) and killed a Celestial by decapitating him. That same Celestial head eventually becomes Knowhere from Guardians of the Galaxy. In the process he gives the symbiotes their weaknesses. He then goes through planets and begins to kill other Gods until he crash lands on Gorr the God Butcher’s planet while incapacitated. Originally that is how Gorr gets his sword.

Some time later, a symbiote Dragon comes into contact with Thor and is defeated by him. Doing this caused the hive mind to break and the symbioses are scattered through the universe. Ultimately leading them to become independent beings separated from Knull. They eventually force Knull to live on an artificial planet of the Symbiotes - Klyntar.

So with that backstory out of the way, if they want to make Knull the bad guy of Spider-Man 4, they can do that story (with some changes of course) in the beginning and a flashback in the film. Bring Thor in only to warn Peter about Knull (maybe make it a scene where Peter tells Thor about Knull but ultimately dismisses him because he knows Knull has been defeated or something idk). That would fulfill Sony’s mandated Marvel cameo.

If Marvel plays their cards right, they can really do some cool s*** at least with the introduction and backstory of Knull. I don’t think it’s something we’re going to get in Venom 3, but this post can age like s*** in the next 2 months.

Homecoming was crazy when it came out especially as someone who didn’t really fw the ASM series

It was so cool seeing the character in these new scenarios and places they hadn’t put him in yet for film

Suit in the film was dope too even if folk call it overdesigned, most spider-man he ever looked at that point
