But I just think he goes thru the exact same arc and themes he usually goes thru with Ben, but with Tony instead so I just genuinely could not care less

Tom is the perfect blend of age,awkwardness and coolness.
Homecoming and FFH are legit my fav MCU movies,cant wait to take my lil bro to see NWH aswell

A lot of spider man themes are attacked in homecoming to showcase this is in fact Spider-Man at heart . From the beginning to the end he has a core spider man arc which literally ends with him paying homage to a legendary comic scene when he completes his arc . Skipping one death does not negate his whole character
I get changing one or two things but if you substitute too many ingredients you're making a completely different dish then don't call it pizza that's a calzone now and that's not what I ordered
