Space chase looked awesome. SS looked great there, but kinda off during those city shots. It was a quality control thing. I appreciated the way they sort of stylized the whole movie so it wasn’t too distracting in the end. I fw the entirely rendered origin scene for SS

Definitely agree with that. I guess because it's a moving vs. static thing? Although there were some static shots in the beginning the dynamic lighting helped.

probably an unpopular take but I kinda prefer the 2007 design better. in this one Shalla-Bal looks like a metal statue, while the Silver Surfer looked more like liquid metal. I'm not a comic book reader, so maybe 2025 is more accurate, idk lol

2 different approaches. 2007 was a more polished metal and now she has this tempered sheen. I agree I like the polished style better but I really liked the new design, and I’m not huge on Julie but she smoked the role. The crying moment would’ve totally fell flat had it not been a woman

I liked it but I didn’t love it. Every actor did their thing. They were legit perfect for the roles. Galactus was dope. But idk why I feel like something was missing. I think it needed more family stuff. Overall, I think I’d give it a 3.5 / 5

I would definitely see it again

Thought this started fun, touched goat-ness and then fell back to earth (much like Johnny after chasing the surfer into space!) and was quite mid for much of the 3rd act

But there’s enough here for future F4 stuff. The russo’s are easily gonna be able to freak these characters and turn them into fan favs. They’re always good at knowing exactly how to use a character and often give us the best iterations of them, this f4 cast with that treatment is gonna be fire.

I will say, the CGI in this was absolutely incredible. There was like one moment I thought looked TERRIBLE lol. But other then that, it was flawless

Someone on the previous page said Galactus’ CGI was bad but I completely disagree. His CGI was great

It was a Mr Fantastic scene but it was very brief. Like a couple seconds and it looked very off and just very bad.

But everything else was excellent IMO

The baby weird looking at times
And the thing kind of wonky in a couple shots
But mostly the cgi is on point
