There is a pretty big degree of seperation between say Loki Season 1 and axing the villain you've been building up to for 5 years, running back to the Russos well and rehiring RDJ.

Would've been cool with just some minor Tony parallels in the character's screen time, but lumping them completely together is just lazy and boring as f*** man lol. Doom can stand on his own without that s*** while being played by a fresh face.
