Ant-Man literally had the f***ing villain that was going to be the main villain in Avengers 5 and it failed. After being billed as an event movie with their star player at the time in the movie. Like what are you not understanding? Sure any Avengers movie would make money. But this is them gauging investment from the audience they obviously have lost it from.
