i'm not as bothered by this update as some ppl are.

i like the connector routes a lot of the times. it depends on the route. some of them are great, some kinda suck.

and the 3-lap courses that everyone is clamoring for sometimes suck too. meaning if you have 24 racers in one of the smaller courses, it sucks. that's too many racers for the size of the course. in that case, i would prefer to do a connector route to the course.

i'll be playing MKW online either way. i'll leave the boycotts to the crybabies

yea i mean i recall a lot of tweaks and improvements to MK8. at one point they totally changed how the ELO calculated because ppl were complaining about how easy it was to gain points.

…because MK8 had way more to prove since the Wii U flopped. Nintendo doesn‘t care anymore since the Switch was a huge success. Nothing will happen

eh idk. this game is going to get updates and DLC and tweaks up the wazoo. given that it's a launch title and the biggest nintendo game of the last 2 generations, it'll likely be the most supported game of NS2.

i'm not sure what they will do about online race mode but i wouldnt put it past them to tweak it further

The races just feel so short in grandprix. Long straights and then 30 seconds to drive the actual track.

i am watching and liking these vids on youtube because i too want a better solution. and the solution is obvious - add a third online mode.

World Tour (intermissions leading into tracks)
Classic Tour (3 lap tracks only)

on that middle option, i would prefer to add another track into the mix meaning each race would be (track 1 - intermission - track 2)

and on the third option (3 track course) i would prefer to limit the racer count to 12 or 16 as opposed to 24

although i'm going to keep grinding online, i have joined the resistance by submitting feedback in the nintendo app and by commenting on the latest NOA tweet to fix MKW online play

online racing mode - course selection - they made it so you basically always get the connector courses leading to a track, rather than a classic 3-lap track. this was done in a software update last night and everyone hates it lol

i think nintendo will fix it because the negative response online is very strong
