All of a sudden, those rumours of Ole helping a rapist escape while at Molde have some meat to them

They weren’t rumours, it was pretty much true but shovelled to the ground when he joined. He made the guy captain and then helped extradite him to a different country. F***ing wild, man.

And on that topic - I think it’s safe to conclude the club knew, and their leaks about his ā€˜behaviour’ and ā€˜attitude’ were actually about his psychotic abusive behaviour to his girlfriend.

Even though footballing matters shouldn’t be discussed with regards to this serious matter, this will have a huge implications on our team going forward. Your looking into
now signing a new striker and winger for the summer

Not to make this about footy

Cuz obviously this is very serious

But this might help in regards to the way we play balance wise

Wish we didn’t loan out Amad tho now smh

What about strikers, Cavani (leaving) Ronaldo (depends where we finish) Rashford (more of a winger/forward than striker)
Then there’s Elanga. Looking at a new striker in the summer

yeah it did feel like the missing piece this summer was a CDM signing and now it's all f***ed. I do feel like that if this Rangers spell is as successful as it looks like it might be for Amad that he can fill the Greenwood gap. But, the option of Greenwood as our long-term number 9 after Ronaldo is no longer a thing lmao

Can see Ralf promoting more youth players into the squad for the remaining 6 months if we don’t sign a player in January

I think Ronaldo will be at United next year no matter what as our starting striker. Maybe Martial comes back into the fold under a new manager and we don't need to spend.

hoping to see Hannibal out on the right like he plays for Tunisia. Only issue with that is we'd have to play Rashford on the other side because Sancho/Hannibal on the wings would lack a lot of speed

Nah that’s completely over now for him. You’ll most likely see United get linked to Haaland again for the summer. Or they move for someone like Dominic Calvin Lewin. Tbh who knows all depends who the new manager wants

With Martial it’s clear his time done at United the main issue is finding a club who are willing to pay a transfer fee and his salary. Unless the player takes a pay cut to move

DCL for me would be amazing, I love him.

Haaland clearly wants to move to either Real or Barca with City being the only other option so I think that's out. Crazy turn of events lmao

This summer for United might be the biggest since the Mourinho/Zlatan/Pogba summer.

New gaffer, huge squad overhaul, etc. Just hope we choose the right man for the job.

That video of him saying daddy’s d*** or whatever was weird itself but I never thought I’d read this. The sad s*** is he will play football given how footballers get out of these situations

We should terminate his contract immediately and bring up a youth player or sign someone asap.

I couldn’t even listen to the full recording, big ups to the victim who was able to come out and expose this piece of s***

You rate DCL? What you think about him as a striker for us. I’m 50/50 on him

yeah, i really like his movement and positioning. Just seems like a baller when I watch him. He kinda reminds me of Cavani, really. If we're going to play Rashford and Sancho on the wings with our new manager, I do think it's imperative we sign a high IQ high workrate type of striker. Issue with him is we'd have to overspend quite a bit and probably wouldn't get good value on him lmao

I'd like Darwin Nunez if I could pick a new ST, though.

It's a bit nuts to consider the kind of characters this club has chosen to protect and associate with over the years. But it's not just isolated to Manchester United

Everyone at the top in world football has been pretty transparent about how morally corrupt they are in recent years. Is it better if the veil has been lifted now? Either way not much is changing which makes it more depressing

    Very depressing.

Makes me wonder if Harriet had been trying to gain some amount of traction with her case but finally just felt like her hand was forced into going public. All credit to her either way.

Seen somebody on reddit post back in October 2021 that Greenwood was an abuser and there was a media injunction against reporting on it. Seems the club definitely did know. Really sickening behaviour trying to brush it under the carpet, and succeeding for so long.

Definitely not isolated to United. There's a reputable French investigative journalist who put out a number of claims about some of the stuff going on throughout football. Really vile reading. Unverified but hardly seems far-fetched.

The next manager simultaneously has a great and terrible job on his hands

    1. So many players will be gone, so the entire midfield, fullback choices, wingers etc. Will be his entire preference, the entire side looks totally malleable at the moment apart from De Gea, Varane, + Bruno**; the entire side could be remoulded to a pressing side, or a possession side etc. BUT the same time

    2. He has the issue of undertaking a pretty big rebuild and expecting to hit the ground running.

** I’d say Ronaldo is the only tactical headache if he’s still here, he has his moments but very few systems can accommodate a 38 year old striker long term.

This is why I think they might end up hiring Ralf as much as I want a new manager. Huge rebuild job as you said
