That’s also kind of why I wanted Mateta in the summer bc he’s good at holding the ball up for them to get further forward (Cup final vs City for Eze’s goal is a good example).

Munoz their RWB is levels above Dalot though, if he wasn’t nearing 30 I’d say throw the bag at him.

The gall Ruben fans have to blame this loss on Bruno is so insane to me

We've done to Bruno what ironically Bruno did to Pogba

What has amorim done to earn your support? You didn’t give ten hag the same unconditional support despite him being a significantly better manager. I think we have a hard time understanding why you particularly have a hard on for the worst manager in our club’s history

I think this revision of history with me and ETH is also incredibly funny

I said numerous times I wanted him to be the man to take us forward but it just looked incredibly unlikely - there was absolutely nothing redeeming about the man

Whereas with Amorim there is. Listen to him talk and he clearly gets it. It takes time to steer this collosal s*** tanker in the right direction and he deserved that time. But you need wins to earn that, which he hasn't gotten. Last season was irrelevant to me. Wrong time to be hired, wrong personnel and decimated with a terrible squad.

This season we have a slightly better squad but nothing major, more rotten apples removed, and when I questioned the activity this summer I got pelters for it yet here we are. They knew he was specific so why not cater to it? INEOS must have massively overrated the ability of the squad we had. No one from the previous crop gets into another big side.

Its gone over most people's head which I'm not surprised by in some cases

Its time now to move on and get a complete winner, no flavour of the month , someone who's done it all ready to crack on

We will still struggle massively with the weak squad though and I don't think fans appreciate that

Lmfaoooo, so the only reason you think Amorim will succeed is that he’s good in pressers 🤣

yea looking at ten hag's embarrassing stint at leverkusen it's pretty clear the guy's just an unbearable, self-glorifying a******, rumor has it he didn't get along with a single person there lmao, ppl call amorim stubborn but ten ten hag's got a reputation for NEVER owning up to his own mistakes, don't care how successful he was at united (he wasn't) he def was a liability, hard to root for the guy in any way

    Precisely

We played equally poor if not worse football (people must have forgotten conceding 45 shots a game) and then he'd come out after the game and lie about it

The only problem we have now is it's brutally honest and when nothing changes it gets tiring

Amorim has the qualities to be a good leader, we've seen it, he's also still clearly young and in all honesty too emotional for the job

But the question of "why did you not root for the cold characterless liar the same way you have for the personable honest guy" is laughable

Maguire and benefits man are in my post.

I mean yeah more people than that have to go, but the priority outgoings should be a core group of players who have presided over the sackings of 3-4 managers and yet somehow still wield immense influence and power at the club.
