This is what I’ve been saying INEOS is gonna turn us into another Everton this summer is gonna go down as the summer that we’ve officially accepted our role as a mid table club.

    Mid table is awfully optimistic

With how poorly we are run and how bad the money is I am genuinely expecting relegation

I’m a fan of Cunha and Mbeumo but now knowing a striker is dependent on outgoings, it’s baffling that we chose to go in the direction that we did.

INEOS are the minority shareholders and do not control how money is allocated

INEOS may be minority shareholders but they have absolutely been involved in the decision making of the men's football team, including hiring some of their own imbeciles in senior leadership roles

They can f*** right off with the Glazers right beside them

I’m not necessarily defending INEOS. They are in control of the football decisions but not the money.

Can you see how these things would come in conflict with one another?

The only position we were decent at, we’re working hard to get more players in for.

So weird what we’re doing. If ever there was an opportunity to sell everyone it was this summer. We have no Europe, and just PL to focus on. Let the youth play the carabao cup. Can literally go into this season with 16-18 players MAX.

Never gonna get another chance to just dump everyone without huge need to sign immediate replacements. Especially when Ruben/the players have shown this doesn’t work as things stand.

We’re gonna have the same exact core group of rotten apples that don’t want to play 3421, and he’s gonna get sacked by September intentional break.

Regardless of all that wouldn’t Amorim have still underperformed?

United were 4 points off top 4 before he joined, and ended up relegation candidates for a good amount of the season. Even Moyes would have kept us top half at least

Fsho don’t get me wrong I think Ruben is more out of his depth than any flop signing we’ve ever made. But I’d have liked us to just sell off every single player we have and start fresh.

Mount Hojlund Zirkzee Antony Rashford Garnacho Ugarte Casemiro Dalot Maguire Onana etc

yet again, I am confused in this transfer window.

so osimhen doesnt want to go to Saudi Arabia to make a gazillion dollars - presumably because he wants to play for a top club and in CL etc.

so he rejected Chelsea last year that badly needed a 9, because he wanted more money.

but he's over the moon to spend his peak years in turkey??? where he will probably make less than he even did at napoli, and he will never compete for anything but the Turkish amateur league?

can someone enlighten me on what im missing.

Gala is playing CL tbh. Also it’s def a difference playing in front of 50k crazy passionate fans every week in turkey vs empty stadiums in the desert in Saudi. Also he’ll make more money at Gala than any other European club would pay him

Money probably, I think he wanted like 12 mil after tax, and 75 mil euro is still a hefty sum. In Turkey he probably doesn’t pay any tax while in the UK a club would have to pay him 20 mil or so to get to 12 after tax. Also may just really like his life in Turkey or scared to get found out in PL idk.

So galatasaray have the capability to pay him more than Chelsea or any other top side in the world, and he’s enthralled with turkey the greatest league of all time?

It’s the strangest decision imo, in long time.
