DEL_DVYgRally strange he didn’t just build around amad. Idk what was happening at practice, it’s so clear in a few touches in real games how superior he is to every other player we have. Could’ve been very different for Hag if he just said amad is playing every games he’s fit. Instead he spent 80M on Antony.
I think most of it boils down to his stubborn loyalty to certain players. He definitely didn’t do himself favors with benching a talent like Amad but in his weird sense he was protecting Amad from the pressure of being a United regular.
Weird thing is Amad kept proving his worth with each appearance to the point of undeniability.
