the key issue has to be the defence, how we defend and the way we just concede too many goals and not being able to just hold the ball to finish the game off is just embarrassing... not good enough

Having watched it again and again to study it more I've changed my mind this was proper crap another example of like school boy error defending, which we've seen throughout this season. There's a few players who at fault with the goals we conceded. but this one, all Maguire had to do was stay in the line. Also De Gea needs to be more psychical and make that quick decision to stop DCL from tapping it in

I hate when last season he often wouldnt even dive or try to go for what ended up being goals. like he always does that thing where he doesnt reach for them cause he knows theyre going in. like sure maybe its impossible - but id like to see him prove that it was impossible even if he stretches out.

Schmeichel wouldve either decapitated DCL or at least gotten way closer to him instantly. and afterwards he wouldve had a massive fight with Maguire to make sure this s*** doesnt keep happening.

Exactly if Maguire stays on the line (like everybody fucling else) there are Everton players offside. The worst part about it he’s looking down the line and this type of passive positioning happens constantly in our box.

To me it is, Allison was the best keeper worldwide not even 2 seasons ago. He has been unlucky with injuries and his performance yesterday was awful, but it's not like this a pattern from over a long term. But maybe rn Ederson is, I mean City conceided only 2 goals in something like 10 matches?

dias, stones, gundogan, rodri, cancelo, foden all just magically got better this season. it cant have anything to do with the coach. zinchenko is not even a real LB.

and when i say better, i mean better in all ways, tactically, structure wise, mentality. they control games on and off the ball, press well, defend well as a team, pass the ball well, score goals, keep clean sheets.
