    Read this @Mamba

I obviously don’t include Weghorst in that no-name talent category… be real man

listen yes we need a new CB and our squad needs revamping out with the old in with the new.

but my god, a mbappe type of players comes around once every 20 years.

hes going to go to Madrid, but we'd all enjoy the next 5 years a lot if he came to our rainy town.

If United had a better average talent level i’d agree

Can you imagine what a squad player of the caliber of Ji-Sung Park would do for this squad? That man could stop Messi.

Now imagine 5 more squad additions like him and think of opposition teams struggling with a star studded team

exactly how I feel about Bellingham. hes the least likeable personality amongst star players for me.

what makes you feel that way about mbappe tho? to me hes fantastic attitude, good sportsmanship, etc. not to mention obviously the talent is insane.

He's sat around PSG of all places for years on end for money.

Constant drama that he helps ignite on whether he's staying/going.

Massive ego and in our current state if he walked in that's not gonna dissipate. He's not walking into a team of champions or a team led by Sir Alex, its a team where he'll be expecting the kind of autonomy and treatment he's gotten used to. Dictate how the team plays, what his role is, how much he's willing to press and run and defend. When he doesn't get his way he'll kick up a fuss, pick issues with teammates, start transfer drama.

    He'll have gigantic salary demands.

Also just get annoyed with how OP he is in Fifa.

That said, I just read the odd report like everyone else (I aint out here watching PSG) - how much of it is true I have no idea. But my personal take is that, at least in our current state, rather than being a Cantona-esque catalyst, he would be a disruptively arrogant juggernaut.

If we're going for high profile left wingers then give me the Napoli guy I like him. Down to earth, salt of the earth even, fella.

Agree to disagree. He’s France captain, the drama around leaving or staying is minor. He doesn’t have to press Ronaldo didn’t. When you’re that good the team is built around your skill set, rightfully so, I don’t want haaland or mbappe or 15 years ago CR, running their lungs out after a left back or chasing a gk down aimlessly.

Again I don’t see the ego stuff the way you do. I do on Jude I think he’s a c*** that id say no to glad we didn’t get him. But kylian has good sportstmanship and super likable.

also I ripped mbappe hard for staying at PSG. and y'all all defended him for wanting to bring the UCL to france/Paris like that. which I respected and came around to.

now its flipped to him being villain for staying at PSG. can't have it both ways.

to me hes a model profesional, mainoo, nacho, etc would learn a lot.

probably. but im sure financially it makes sense and united (glazers) would make more than mbappe in this business deal.

and literally Ineos/ratcliffe will do all this and glazers will be able to sell united for 10 billion in 10 years.

My only consolation: they can’t take that money to the grave

  • Feb 16, 2024

Actually the Donuts added a clause that allows them to full sale the club within 2 years which would force Ratcliffe to forfeit his own shares… i’m scared for the future 😥

Expensive according to what, wage bill?

There's no way that's a talent/market valuation lol. That side was full of loans and Lindelof type wasters

UEFA's European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report read: "Manchester United FC's squad at the end of the club's 2023 financial year (i.e. before the summer 2023 transfer window) is officially the most expensive ever assembled, with a combined transfer cost of €1,422m.

    Bad business 😭

I still don't get all these roles.

    brailsford
    berrada
    ashworth
    Wilcox
    Murtough

and fletcher is still around. lotta chefs.

Most clubs will have infrastructure like this — it’s just you don’t hear about reported because they’re not the massive Manchester Reds

Nobody even knew who Barrada was until like 3 weeks ago when we decided to get him but apparently he’s top in class for his role

He's actually going to Madrid on a lower salary than what they offered him in 2022 lol

  • Premtards are an incredibly deluded bunch, but Arsenal and United fans who earnestly believe they even have a shot at Mbappe wearing their jersey take it to the next level.

Barcelona is still #1 on wage bills after all their financial troubles and those f***ers still cry about La Liga not letting them sign a dozen new players.

Those guys would’ve been playing in League 2 if they had to comply to PL FFP rules

We managed a couple 2nd and 3rd places with Woodward RA and Murtough in charge. Going to a structure ‘every top club has’ could be a change for us that could actually win us a prem lol
