So he coasted to third while everyone else was s***

And bottled the fa cup final before you could finish counting the hairs on his head

Aaaand lost the Europa league tie after in a record worse result

    Ok brilliant fantastic come back

Second season another 100+m given to him.. oh yeah that’s going swimmingly well too. Straight out the UCL out the carabo and floundering mid table

Yep definitely couldn’t see this coming

Don't go moving goalposts now and trying to conflate.

You have consistently said he should have been sacked after the Liverpool result. Let's stick to that topic.

There is not a single rational football fan that would look at those results and think sack him based off one result.

    I stand by it

What’s happening now is happening because we let it slide & told ourselves using the same players to beat Betis meant all was forgiven

All of this is deserved because that game & results similar were taken far too lightly rather than what they actually were

The writing was on the wall and here we sit tonight after another 4-0 drumming at home to a team 13th in the league

Like I said time and time again I wish I was wrong but it is what it is

Fret not Bayern backshots and Liverpool frontshots back to back will surely have Mr Eras Come To An End sacked.

Better question is will anything resembling a fundemental change occur after his departure? You're delusional if you answer in the positive.

With the right hire I think so.

An on field identity can’t be too much to ask for.

Easy to bring up the example of Real Madrid or Bayern who frequently change managers but that's missing the fact that quality is consistently palpable in these squads, even if results aren't always reflective of it.

United on the other hand has been operating on pure vibes since the departure of SAF. Some of these players look like they lack the fundementals of the game and/or they don't even want to be here. Even if you choose to ignore the fact that these names are nowhere near the caliber that'd being home anything of note.

The rot in this institution runs deeper than a coach that much is obvious.

Good luck with another manager roller coaster. Cannot wait for the drama that United fans will act victimized by

Unless they get blessed with proper structure that is ofc

hindsight is 20-20. but losing 7-0 no matter who you are, is sackable. something is rotten if that happens for any team.

definitely will, every new owner wants their own person in anyway. ETH could've finished 2nd this season and been on shaky ground next season. look at tuchel/boehly.

The players threw in the towel and lost their heads in the second half against a very good team. I really don't get the obsession with singling out a heavy defeat as if it's some football anomoly.

It's happened to Klopp (against Villa at that). Happened to Wenger against us. Happened to Sir Alex.

It's obviously not something you want, but if there's ever a time for it happen, it's your first season with a team that's not fully formed. The important point at that time was we bounced back swiftly.

Now this season is a very different state of affairs and the Bournemouth result especially. But this 'oh Liverpool was an omen he should have been sacked on the spot' is absolutely ridiculous - especially when you look at our results around that period as I pointed out.

we could've won every game apart from that, but 7-0 is wild. Wenger worst was 8-2? Ferguson was that city game what was that like 6-1? again not as bad. he literally had the worst loss ever...

and its not just that result either. we won lots of games, but we did always say we play like s*** and have no 'style'. apart from getting results that first season, he didnt develop anything.
