Big problem is that once players are here they have no incentive to try their best or improve anymore. You can be absolutely horrible and put zero effort in but you know the club will not sell you anyway. And then after 5 years of earning a few hundred k a week your contact expires and you can move on, or if you have a few good games your contract will be extended by another 3 years. Players like McTominay Sancho Rashford Martial Lindelof Maguire etc have zero incentive to improve themselves cus they know they won’t be sold anyhow unless they want it themselves.
