They can now play every week, regardless of performance. They are given insane contract extensions.

When it's actually boiled down to it, ETH is not the man for the job - he has favourites, demonstrated terrible man management on a number of occasions, results aren't there either. If he was pandering to the cancerous players in the club it'd be overlooked.

Rashford is a guaranteed starter and he has told the world that. So is Bruno Fernandes.

Contract extensions - at least 3 of the starting 11 who shipped 7 to Liverpool have been given one. Including the 'starboy'.

Terrible man management - Public beef with several players. Snipes at their capability in press conferences.

But you're right, it's an ugly road and finishing third last season only to get blasted out of the UCL at the earliest possible convenience as a reward for that is sensational and gives us fantastic hope he's the man for the job.

He would not be in charge of United if he didn’t have “total control of transfers.” His words.

Trying to deflect a s*** manager on every single other factor. Boring. There’s things that go against him and things he’s flat out unfit to be doing. The job as a whole is one.

This doesn’t need all this discourse — it boils down quite simply to this:

We are 1.5 years and £400m~ of transfer fees down the line, and we are essentially in the same place we were at the start of ETH’s tenure; playing the same brand of football and getting similar results.

Most of his signings are either out of the team, will soon need to be replaced or are just not contributing anything positive; none of the players he had here when he joined have really visibly improved; and virtually no young players bar one have been integrated properly into the first team.

Assuming that any of this changes with more time is based on hope rather than evidence.

How many injuries does he have? Who is filling in for the starter players? What could ETH instill in training in those players?
