why
only part interesting to me was the bits of don's past that they would show then and there but even that was annoying too because they would always tease it and then move on back to the boring office s***

04x04 was directed by john slatt
IIRC he directed 5 episodes between seasons 4 and 6 including Signal 30 which is one of my favorites in the whole series.
This is my fifth time watching the pilot and it's only now hit me that "David Cohen from the art department" is the payoff to the, "Hey, do we employ any Jews?" conversation.
I never picked up on the name, the whole "found him in the mailroom" line never registered in my brain. I always just assumed it was typical poor/choppy pilot writing, and the guy was a legitimate worker in the art department that Don genuinely didn't recognize or know because at that point they were writing him to be more self-centered and unaware of things going on at the office (aka who Roger became after this.) That scene was one of my biggest gripes with the pilot and now I realize I've been wrong about it the whole time.
I'm such an idiot
His major flaw is always liking the start of things but never seeing it thru
Don just like me
been busy lately so i havent gotten a chance to watch this lately but im almost finished with season 6
dont want this show to end its so gooooood....
