@Campari had a powerful Cupid Deluxe relisten just now
used to only like the first three tracks and tbh the middle stretch is a bit messy maybe, but wow I'm in love with the production and there's so many brilliant melodies. Some of those more harshly 80s drums definitely prevented me from enjoying this back in the day lol, got much more tolerance for that now

Glad you like it a lot more! The production is so dreamy
What tracks you liking this time around?
please don't make Harpers's brother turn into a terrorist or some s***
at the end of the series he screams F*** AMERICA and blows up the whole camp and unknown oil reservoirs start shooting up everywhere and fill the screen black, then it says in white font
directed by Luca Guadagnino

first three are still highlights for sure, it is a bit frontloaded lol, but I thought it's really cool how It Is What It Is is essentially a pt.1 of Time Will Tell, Chosen is overloaded af and I love it, On The Line is really great. Just generally appreciating it much more as an album listen, actually listened to it twice in a row now lol

Chosen is actually my favorite song off the album.
Blu-ray of this dropping next month in the UK
Nice. Didn't expect a bluray release.
s/o this soundtrack for showing me Julius Eastman 😮
maybe we have to credit Dev for that one
he also played a rendition of his composition Evil hard-r which I shared itt earlier. That one was amazing need to dig what else the man did, fascinating he worked with Arthur Russell too
So next episode the painfully obvious happens and that becomes some sort of tipping point for everyone I would imagine
That "Time Will Tell" re-creation was awesome, I'm loving these artistic moments between Harper & Fraser. Cudi was absolutely hilarious in the campfire scene.
I'm starting to think these "freeze frame" moments are to signify important times that these characters are having in Italy. As they come of age, certain experiences are like snapshots acting as essential events in ones lives that have a lasting impact, like a picture.

that ending was so abrupt, I wanna know what happened so bad now lmao

there's a 3 disc comp on Spotify that I'm currently listening to

Isn’t it obvious? They’ve been setting it up nearly since the beginning
