A bit less when you realize that Dev only scored it after the show was shot. Luca sent him an edit and he played over it.
Also, seems like we MIGHT get a Dev appearance judging by Fraser saying he’s coming to Bologna and there’s 3 tracks with “Live at the Locomotiv” on the soundtrack. If true I can’t wait!
Yeah there's def gonna be live Dev
Cudi has been so good this series! This episode esp
I have a feeling he wasn't the one speaking that Italian though lol
Lol I'm sure Cud was speaking the Italian part. He did that whole Maniac short film in French so this shouldn't be that hard.
Love the use of “Time Will Tell” from Blood Orange throughout the show. Cupid Deluxe one of the coolest albums of all time. I can relate to Fraser falling in love with Dev at that age
After the first episode, I was pretty certain I wasn’t going to continue watching this but after the behind the scenes spot where he spoke about the idea of creating this army base from scratch and watching these characters dwell within it and try to sort of recreate their perceptual ideas of America and American life on this foreign soil really struck me and I haven’t been able to stop since
this show makes me feel so many things, and in a good way, what a rarity. and papa cud is so good in it ugh.
a show about kids messing about on an italian island and finding themselves is just beautiful
Just finished the latest episode and this showwwwww man, so so good. I can't wait to see what this evolves into. All of the characters really finding themselves is so amazing and interesting to see.
episode 4 was one of the greatest tv episodes i've ever seen
episode 5 was a neat follow up too

A neat look into the fashion, makeup and production design.
Fraser’s fit in that brown sweater near the end is crazy, can’t wait to see these episodes!
Cudi does a great job with his character 'cause man does he annoy the s*** out of me in this, he's always angry about some s***

only fell in love with Dev's music with Freetown Sound and thought every project since was brilliant but never really got into that album, def need to revisit now, this show def achieved me falling in love with that song at the very least
His fashion sense is forced as hell lmao He dresses like a legit hypebeast
makes a lot of sense for the character tbh, still young and finding himself
His fashion sense is forced as hell lmao He dresses like a legit hypebeast
I mean most hypebeasts that age typically nerd out like that, the same age where you haven’t really developed a real sense of style
80% of people watching prolly have no idea what he’s talking about and just accept it for what it is
lowkey the two Freetown songs which Dev will probably perform live later are unusual tbh, none of the "hits" from that album like Augustine, Best To You, EVP, Desiree
His fashion sense is forced as hell lmao He dresses like a legit hypebeast
That’s a bit unfair, he just loves fashion and speaks about it the same way kids his age would discuss basketball or movies.
Now, If by “forced” you mean he’s forcing his interests onto his friends then yeah I guess but that’s what anyone that age usually does to spark discussion.
He’s been wearing some super expensive pieces throughout, even for hypebeast standards.
