Let's say you're with someone who's the perfect girlfriend, beautiful, kind, s***is great, chill as f***, never argue, similar lifestyle preferences, down for anything, etc. but just something about the way they approach and view the world feels underwhelming, meh, you don't relate to it, etc. Is this someone you should be with?

For example, you're opinionated, like pretentious art films and have a dark sense of humor, she laughs along but she's a lot more careful and self-conscious and won't go as deep as you so it always feels like you're just riffing and barely getting anything back outside of "that's diabolical", "you're craaazy", "clock it", "never beating the allegations"

When she complains about certain in her life, you wonder why she cares so much in the first place. She's a people pleaser, you're not. She cares a lot about what other people think about things, instead of just straight up telling you what she thinks about a given topic. Also, when she tries to give you sensible advice on life, it never really resonates because you value different things (e.g. security vs fulfillment/self-actualization)

She's great to hang out with, you enjoy making her laugh, but there's just no banter or deep appreciation for who she is outside of being a great girlfriend. You're not fascinated by her, you don't sing her praises unprompted. She's just a solid girl that rides for you
