im trying to illustrate the difference between correlation and causation

the fact of the matter is that unfortunately black men commit most of the crimes in the US (whether it's due to socio-economic factors, education, whatever)

if you have bad individuals within the police force, there is a much higher chance that they will run into black men. the chance of them running into black men, and situations like this taking place are higher than with any other race

i guess the point is this guy was tapped in the head, and maybe he killed him for any number of reasons. maybe he didnt like the shoes george had on, or didnt like the fact he was bald. but people jump to this whole race thing

the solution isnt to label the whole US police force as racist

the solution is to raise black people up so that they dont run into these kinds of evil people

call me a racist or misinformed or whatever, i just think people have this all backwards

its their emotionless response regardless of what is said to them that makes it weird though

you'd think you'd show SOME sort of emotion to being insulted for over an hour

Yeah, I get the anger and frustration and the desire for change. I just personally think it's counteractive to destroy and loot your own community/people's businesses/livelihoods. I'm asking myself if that's really necessary to get to the end result. I believe the incident/movement has already gathered a whole lot of attention and support from many companies and various places around the world who have uplifted the incident on their platforms and showed support and given many donations.

There is decades long history behind black americans, incarceration, and the police force so you're comparing apples to oranges and are excluding significant factors in this scenario.
