what are people's ideas for instating police reform? I think most people would at least agree on, to begin with realistically:
-breaking up police unions or limiting union power
-community-based reform, officers should only be hired locally and must reside in communities they police in
-at least some degree of no-tolerance laws for violence/escalation
other tangential ideas would probably include;
-more transparent policing & community data/access for civilians
-removing any form(s) of minimum sentencing
this is obviously just a start and removed from wider abstract concepts but this is all realistic and could be passed and put very quickly into place. longer term goals would be like ending the war on d****, weakening the DEA & changing the purpose of state troopers, prison reform, etc.
I’m voting for Joe Biden no question, Trump is one of the worst presidents in this countries history. But that doesn’t mean I have to bend over and worship the democratic establishment
Just as long as you know what to do come November that’s all
What he endured at Disney radicalized this man, lol.
Disney really f***ed up.
Like imagine if John Boyega starred as the lead in the sequel movies and they were helmed by the guy who did the Mandalorian???
S*** would've been Empire level.
What has Terence Howard said about any of this? 😳The only thing I can think of is Jamie fox’s Dead on impression of Howard.

wholeheartedly agree
Dem. establishment is just that. It's whats already established. It represents what the democrats in office think is important. And it is so far disconnected from what the country needs.

I think they should have to buy all their uniforms weapons supplies vehicles etc out of their own paychecks. With a marketplace for credit should they require financing at competitive rates
It is
That s*** is radical as f*** how?
Abolish the police unions? yes,
the entire police department?
What he endured at Disney radicalized this man, lol.
Disney did him super dirty so i guess he has nothing to lose anymore unlike his peers
Abolish them
Ground zero , c/s. Everything must be scrapped. Too much neglected corruption

What happened?
What happened?
Everything about his character from the beginning of the sequal to the end
Yes
step one how we get enough people in government to abolish police as a whole

Thats the only mentality to have. This election serves one purpose at this point. GET. TRUMP. OUT. OF. OFFICE.

P simple but were not ready for that
Minneapolis controlled by Democrats
Yeah you right about that. By all measures the "right" people are in place. The bigger problem is how a guy with Chauvin's rap sheet was still on the force. That kind of thing is what these protests are trying to highlight
Idc how popular it is
we can talk theoretically about what would or wouldn't work if we were to start from step 0, but that's unfortunately not where we are right now. you aren't going to have an anarchist "state"/anarchist territory so long as other countries exist in a globalized economy. if you want to move towards a police-less state it's not going to happen overnight, it's just not, the culture isn't there for it.
