I don’t get it, what is he trying to prove here?

He’s saying those black boys got played and caught by their undercover agent.

i don't loot, but i don't give a damn about these billion dollar corps getting looted.

doesn't mean we want people looting cause again, it f***s over the people here trying to send a message

looting has positives and negatives to it; as you said, it sends a negative connotation to the protest/movement as a whole, but on the other hand, it may forces the powers that be to actually make a change, as it places more pressure upon local governments to do something

it's about whether the benefits outweigh the negatives I guess

it brings attention but it also paints the protest in a bad light and gets others turn disagree with the movement

I think people who speak out against an important movement and protest like this because of looters are to be ignored. They want a peaceful protest to the point they can ignore it.

yeah i'll agree with that. It seems like a lot on social media agree with the major corps but not the smaller businesses/chains like with Round 2 and black owned shops

they'll just higher more workers? Their buildings and product are all insured and all have revenue in the millions or billions.

Not to mention they can replace everything. You can't do that with the people dying at protests or the ones killed by police

Lots of companies are so large they don't even have full insurance, they self insure a large portion.

That cost ends up on products or cutting costs (workers)

They don't just say ok were back to business the next day and open back up. Takes weeks (if not longer) to set up the store again, clean up, figure out the costs.

And that is just for the large companies.

    Tons of smaller stores hit

I know a girl whose family has a liquor store and it was absolutely trashed.

Even if you have insurance, which is costly and the premium will now go up, it likely does not cover all the costs.

The ins company tries to haggle you as well and they take time to pay you

They did a similar thing to someone in the Detroit stream in the middle of the night. A bunch of cops on 1 arrest, slammed his head into the stairs and one cop put his whole body on dude head
