Sometimes I feel like the target (Ayy, I feel like the target)
But f*** it, this time I go harder (Ayy, I'ma go harder)
@LilBillVert How you feeling?
Swervin' and smashin' all over the place just like I got road rage
All of these diamonds on top of my watches, b****, it got no face
I told one of my b****es she need to stop, she looked at me, "No way"
She turn around just to go look at the clock, she worried 'bout old age (Huh?)
She told me that she really love me, not worried 'bout knots, I look at her, "Okay" (Okay)
@LilBillVert How you feeling?
Feeling good on the whole! I don’t think it’s perfect by any means (it’s weird I think I like parts of every song but a couple had sections / verses that coulda been cut or improved) but ultimately I’m glad Uzi took some of these risks on the project really think most paid off. Glad we got a lot of the most hyped snippets too, runs a tad long on a full listen but absolutely will be bumping a lot of this through the summer

The production is so good on this project. Really feel like Uzi had a leg up on most mainstream artists in this regard but it’s refreshing to hear a full project of it again
I haven’t been paying attention to snippets, what (if any) songs on this have been anticipated? (Not zoom or of course)

X2 was just made a week or so ago so people were instantly hyped that Ken Carson produced it / linked with Uzi

Hard to gather my thoughts so soon considering it’s so long & so versatile
I love how experimental and straight-up weird it is
My main issue is all the interpolations of other stuff, feels a bit artistically redundant when Uzi is so creative. Like the CS sounds good but I would’ve traded it for something else
I think on the whole he probably isn’t as catchy as he used to be any more, I don’t really see a hit off this but then again he doesn’t need another after JWR
Some amazing moments though, feels like such a blockbuster experience - Suicide Doors is peak rockstar Uzi, Patience is peak melodic Uzi, Nakamura is bonkers, Pluto to Mars & Momma still are great and lived up to weighty snippet expectations
Whole album just feels super him which is nice, but his rapping isn’t as good on this as it was on EA since he’s exploring other sounds.
I don’t want to compare it yet to the rest of his discography, hasn’t even been 24 hours. I think it’s what was needed though, refreshing for a mainstream release to be this psyched out & weird, can always count on Uzi for that.
It just goes to show though that he could drop so much more regularly, surprised Ridiculous made it to the final tracklist, hearing it in 2023 feels pretty underwhelming. I’m probably cutting ties with stanning him now because i’m getting a bit too old, but I hope this newfound energy encourages him to just start giving us more projects because I really believe you could go into his vault any given day and make a good-to-excellent rap project

Yeah I'm def feeling similar on some of this.
Really think we could be getting yearly 9-12 track albums and all the songs would be gas, just strange that he waits so long and has like 800 songs recorded for just this record (which is why I was excited we got the EP was a nice refresher).
Agree with the blockbuster feel, really chaotic in the energy but thats what I come for with Uzi in general.
Definitely could have been a few more rap focused songs, one of the biggest strengths I always saw about Uzi was his ability to have melodic hits and rap hits simultaneously and he definitely delivered more on that in his previous releases but not so much here. More of a vibe album with his melodic/rock/pop/rage tracks (will we ever get a song like Enemies again?)
I def think we shoulda got an album after that 2020 live and had some newer tracks on this (agree about ridiculous, cool hearing some outtatown/starboy but not sure it holds up so much when the sounds starting to get a bit stale due to overexposure).
Wish BNYX got another prod song on this, really feel like he's in his bag rn and Aye is not hitting for me like it should (but its older so more understandable).
Overall its cool that we are getting something to break the mold a bit of whats going on currently. I think this will get compared to WLR a lot cause of the energy on a lot of it but I see it as like two different approaches on something somewhat similar.
Ready for the inevitable deluxe coming in the next week or so

spot on, heavily agree with the last two paragraphs especially 🎯
I don’t think you can say he’s rapping worst here than pink tape in less than 24 hrs. If you are an avid fan you would think you wait 48 hrs before you even respond.
