I think the institution of family needs to be held accountable in this country.
We blame the education system, but they’re so far removed from the institution of family.
The sad truth is many ppl find comfort in trauma and don’t know how to avoid the sequence of events that make them vulnerable to s***ty ppl.
Predators do a very good job of putting themselves in positions of power in order to justify their sickness. Access to the vulnerable is big business.
Ppl are taught to prioritize power over morality and that’s how the cycle is instigated.
The fact is, ppl tend to be raped by somebody they trust.
No girl feels comfortable in an unsecure space with a strange man.
Of course rape happens in these circumstances, but usually a level of trust has to be gained.
That’s why the institution of family needs to be better policed. Those are the ppl that develop wat trust looks like to young ppl.
How can a school teach about rape culture when kids go home to it?
We can’t rely on kids to stop it.
Rape is so hard to prove, but insights such strong emotions.
But those strong emotions don’t lead to easy answers.
She’s not wrong for going to social media if she’s being honest.
But false accusations are very damaging and feminists will tell u that women rarely lie about rape.
That’s a lie, and we live in a society that doesn’t believe that lie.
Our society believes that glamorous women are obsessed with powerful men and will put themselves in compromising positions to gain access to that power. Whether thats true or not, that’s the script ppl believe and sometimes unfortunately, what ppl believe even in regards to your own safety must be taken into account.
The ppl can be very wrong sometimes, but they’re not wrong all the time.
The court of public opinion is like watching a lion kill its prey. It’s ugly, but necessary.
Finding realistic solutions is a really long road. Often our experiences no matter how painful are minute occurrences in favor of progression or regression whether that’s personal or public.
Clearly I have personal experiences regarding this subject, so I would appreciate sensitivity, but I wouldn’t share it on ktt if I wasn’t ready to go to war with ktt f*** niggas.

Jun 4, 2020·3 repliesall these losers in this thread i hope none of you niggas have a female friend or family member ever go through sexual assault. 2-8% of rape allegations are false so that means at least 90% of rape accusations are true. it’s very hard to prove rape because it’s traumatic for the victim to have to constantly retell the story not only to police officers but to a court where their attacker will be sitting right in front of them. also rapes are normally done by people they know like a family member so their families coerce the girl into not saying anything to the police so the family doesn’t have a public scandal. rape kits are very invasive and even if they do work they’re not used that much. also these women can be d***ged so they might not have a recollection of the rape because of that and weren’t even conscious to be able to verify it
