They don't. Every year the winner is incredibly deserving.
Harden's 1 MVP award is right tbh there hasn't been a year where he was the overwhelming favorite and didn't get it.
There's a precedent that's followed for that award 99% of the time.

even though i have not once treated a black person or person of colour differently, wasn't raised that way, wasn't even raised around white people only like other white people are, my neighbours are Persian, Jamaican and Guatemalan
Uh you seem fine or like a chill dude for the most part, but you should look past being proud of white skin color. You need to be proud your ancestry (ie british/irish/whatever European country). Cause being proud of white in the US is another ball game vs being proud of your own culture as a hispanic, asian, black, or other ethnicity.
