There are certain rappers who record a ton of random tracks regularly and then leave it to their team to pick from the vault and package a few of them up nicely and cohesively as an album
But this method of recording and releasing just ends up sounding like a compilation of loosies every time with no real distinction from their last project aside from branding

The best formula to making an album is still to record music that’s specifically for that project alone
