band got way better from A Hard Day's Night onwards.
Of course but they were still good enough in '62 that they saved rock and roll
God I hated TML That album sounded so f***ing dated and lazy I don’t know why anyone liked it and I’m still hot he ruined Miss Me that beat is crazy and wasted on him it should of been a Wayne & Bun track instead
Future - Pluto
L
also it’s hilarious how half that album is just songs from his mixtapes
Neil Young debut would be among his better albums in any other decade than the 60s and 70s imo. Otherwise, def agree.
That's true but in the later decades he could skirt by as a legacy act. Competition was fierce back then and he's lucky he had enough Springfield clout to even be allowed a second album cause it did not sell.
Thank Me Later isn’t that weak of an album
It is absolutely a weak debut album for somebody like Drake
yea it's terrible
I would even allow you to call the Kinks debut terrible but not Please Please Me
Still ok albums but weak compared to the classics
Dylan
Bowie
Neil Young
Prince
Kinks
Beach Boys
All true but debuting as a 60s act basically meant your first album was s***. They had no creative freedom at all.
I think this is a good candidate as a big Cam fan. SDE - Killa Season are just so much better imo.
Album cover was always funny too
Hell no
This and SDE went crazy

All true but debuting as a 60s act basically meant your first album was s***. They had no creative freedom at all.
That's why Please Please Me such a miracle

I don’t like Fireworks but I don’t think the album has “bad” songs
LICENSE TO ILL IS WEAK??!?
People are ignorant. That record is so much fun.
