2pacalyspe Now isn't even a bad album lyrically, some of the songs just sound outdated.
had hits too
Brenda Got a Baby is from there & its always been one his biggest songs to date, & Violent is a hardass deepcut
But it is his weakest imo

Never knew this was considered weak cause back in the day this album went crazy at bashments lmao s*** is lowkey considered a classic among West Indian folks in their mid 20s to early 30s.

brenda wasn't really a hit like that. got more bigger after he passed
Makes sense for it to be popular in the Caribbean community though. It was her most dancehall and reggae influenced album. Joint had Vybez Kartel on it and in the early-mid 2000s that was equivalent to a Jay Z co-sign in the islands...also helps that she literally had a Jay Z co-sign for the album via Def Jam lol

Brenda was a hit lol even before death what are you talking about n its always been one of his more popular songs
It was the only song of his being played on the east at the time too

It wasn't hated on. It kinda got overshadowed.
Rihanna's 2nd album was when she started gaining steam and GGGB was when she was on top of the world.

i mean it did okay on the rap charts but it was far from his biggest when he was alive. it lived on largely once he passed.

No s*** it wasnt his biggest it was his first album I didnt say it was thee biggest (he wasnt even that known until his soph, Strictly) & Rap was still segregated at the time util mid to late 90s
A hit is a hit & exist out side of top 10, & its still one of his most popular/recognizable today regardless
Still ok albums but weak compared to the classics
Dylan
Bowie
Neil Young
Prince
Kinks
Beach Boys
Neil Young debut would be among his better albums in any other decade than the 60s and 70s imo. Otherwise, def agree.

he had two singles in the billboard top 20 literally on his next album my man. brenda wasn't really a hit man come on lol
honestly only song I hated on TML back in the day was Fancy
rest holds up for me for pure nostalgia, feel like I’m playing COD4 every time it comes on
Goblin is a cult classic
it was significant for its time but that s*** ass
b****** better

Yes it was lol along with the music video
I think this is a good candidate as a big Cam fan. SDE - Killa Season are just so much better imo.
Album cover was always funny too
yea it's terrible
i get thinking its subpar but why full on "terrible"? not even a fan of the highlights?

the highlights are good but the album is 14 tracks and I like about 4 songs (Love Me Do, I Saw Her Standing There, Twist & Shout and Please Please Me)
yea it's terrible
Pretty good for the single day in the studio they were allotted to record it
