Let me put it this way.... I've seen 3 Fraser Mummy movies already but I've seen zero horror centric Mummy film. It's a no brainer which one would be more intriguing to me as an audience.

Hollywoods infaution with IP name value is so ludicrious. Nothing about this screams mummy.
Might as well have been an original horror flick.
Same with Wolf Man last year
for all the terrible possession and zombie movies we have, mummies are really an under-explored genre that we need more of
with that being said, this just looks like another terrible possession movie with mummy slapped across the title
much better than I expected
